The Story Behind Well Within Skin and Laser Center
Well Within shares an office space with Manatee Gynecology where Dr. Desai and many members of our team treat patients. Dr. Desai wanted to give women an opportunity to receive a range of self-care and facial aesthetics while at Manatee Gynecology. It’s hard enough juggling multiple different responsibilities. Running back and forth to various appointments and offices can add an extra layer of stress. Well Within was opened to help make life easier on you.

Hi, I’m Shanna Sherman. I am a Nurse Practitioner and I am certified in injecting Botox, filler, and performing laser treatments for hair removal and skin resurfacing. I have been a nurse practitioner for 10 years and an RN for 6. I was born and raised in Florida. I moved to Manatee County in 2004 where I attended Manatee Community College for my registered nursing degree. After that, I received my bachelors and masters degree in nursing from University of South Florida. I am a wife and a mother to 3 amazing kids. I was born and raised here in Manatee County – a local gal! I’m a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women’s health and I do health coaching for clients that are motivated to change their life! I graduated undergrad from University of South Florida and got my doctorate from Florida State. I have worked in the medical field for 10 years and love to see people putting themselves first and taking control of their health and their lives! I am married to a wonderful husband and we just had our first baby girl, Savannah. I love the area we live in and soaking up the Florida sun!
